Visit the wild Gorillas in the rainforests of the Virunga National Park in Uganda with professional guides and at the same time help raise money for Rotary Club Malta's environmental projects in Malta.

THIS IS A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME ADVENTURE

 
Rotary Club Malta are looking for Challengers to join them trekking in Uganda through the rain forests, valleys and local communities of the Virunga Mountain Range to see the wild Gorillas in their natural habitat.
 
You will climb Mount Sabinyo, take a breath-taking boat ride across a volcanic lake in wooden canoes, visit a local school as well as getting involved with various eco projects for the local community.
 
You will see golden monkeys, elephants and gorilla's and the Bwindi impenetrable forest is home to 120 species of mammals, 200 varieties of trees and more than 50 reptiles. The mist curls around the trees above you which makes the trek magical.
 
This challenge is suitable for all ages over 18 with a general level of fitness.
 
Sponsorship monies raised will go to Rotary Club Malta's 'Save Malta's Natural Habitats' projects.

What makes this challenge so good is that you can either self-fund for the trip or you can set up a fundraising page, run fundraising events, ask family & friends to donate because you will be raising money for charity for Rotary Club Malta's 'Save Malta's Natural Habitats' project.
