Tony Colerio named Honorary Member of Rotary Club Malta

During the final 2022-23 Board Meeting of Rotary Club Malta held on 21 June 2023, joined by the outgoing and incoming Board Members, it was unanimously agreed to support the proposal to nominate Rtn. Tony Coleiro as Honorary Member of the Club.

This proposal was submitted by PDG Alfred Mangion and PDG John de Giorgio and endorsed by President Tonio Cuschieri and all Members attending the Joint Board Meeting, some of whom have known Tony for his sterling work for the Club as well as on the District 2110 level.

Rotary Club Malta is appreciative of the 47 years of "Service Above Self" that Tony has dedicated to the Club, which includes his Presidency for the Rotary Years 1984–85 and 1985–86, as well as his acting as District Governor for Rotary Year 1997–98.

Tony's active involvement has enabled our Club to build and retain close connections with the Rotary Clubs throughout District 2110.

It is an honor bestowed on Tony as the longest-serving member of the Club, which is unanimously deemed to be a most deserved acknowledgment of his invaluable community service and Rotary commitment.

We all look forward to Tony's continued presence and participation at the forthcoming Club meetings and events.
