Tonio Cuschieri assumes the role of President of Rotary Club Malta at hand-over ceremony from Prof Robert Ghirlando. 
As with all Rotary Clubs worldwide, the close of the Rotary year on the 30 June sees the hand-over of responsibility for the running of the Club to a new President.  Rotary Club Malta's President 2021/22, Prof Robert Ghirlando, handed over his chain of office to President 22/23,
Tonio Cuschieri at a ceremony attended by club members held at the Skybeach Restaurant on the 19th Floor of the Intercontinental Hotel in St Julians.
 
Tonio is a retired banker who now holds a number of directorships with Malta based companies that operate internationally. A Rotarian since 1991, Tonio has been both Secretary and Treasurer of the club as well as holding board positions. 
 
Tonio has been married to Priscilla since 1976 and they have three children; Erika, Clarissa and James, as well as four 4 grand children. 
 
Tonio's main hobbies are reading and listening to music and traveling.
