Our club has been invited to join Rotary Club La Valette members, who have for several months been assisting Foodbank Lifeline Foundation to pack food that is donated to needy families and individuals.
Our club has been invited to join Rotary Club La Valette members, who have for several months been assisting Foodbank Lifeline Foundation to pack food that is donated to needy families and individuals. This entails three Rotarians to go to the food bank depot every two weeks on a Friday and to place individual items specified on a blackboard into the awaiting bags needing to be filled.
Our club has so far provided three members who have participated in the packing and placing of food in the bags. Teresa Andrate,Koos Wiechers and Rob von Brockdorff have so far participated in this worthwhile service. Other members have also offered to join the group from our club and await their turn to serve.
