Verdura Golf and SPA Resort - Sciacca
This tournament is organized for rotarian golfers and, in 2017, on 22nd and 23rd of april 2017, will be the 5th edition.
The site of the tournament is the Verdura Golf and SPA resort situated in Sciacca on the south coast of Sicily. Verdura is a resort with two golf courses that hosted the European Tour in 2012 for the Sicilian Open.
The tournament formula is a pair competition on two days.
In the first day the formula is a Pair Texas Scramble (Stableford). In the second day the formula is individual (stableford). The overall ranking is made from the results of the two days.
Every pair must be composed by two rotarian or by one rotarian and a family member or a friend. The difference between the handicap of the two players can’t be over 10 and in other case, the player with higher handicap have to reduce it until the value required.
For people that come alone, the organizers will find a partner to arrange the pair.
The main target for this tournament is to increase the friendship among rotarian golfers just to share the passion for this amazing game also with the others members of the Rotary Club Sciacca in the warm ospitality of Sicily and we are organizing also dinner and some program for not golfers for Friday and Saturday.

The main airport near to Sciacca are Palermo (PMO) and Trapani (TPS); the airlines flying on this airport are Alitalia, Ryan air, Vueling, Volotea, Air Berlin, Easy jet.
